HOW DOES PUBLIC TRANSPORT WORKS?

If you are interested in travel to Bogotá, then you will need to know how to move around.

Bogotá has the Sitp (Integrate Public Transport System), it is a network of blue, green, red, orange busses  and trasmilenios (articulated busses). The busses moves around all the city, crossing the main streets and low traffic roads, and trasmilenio only moves in highways streets, but all is connected. To access to any part of the system, you will need Tu llave card, you can buy it in any terminal and charged there or in other authorized points around the city.

The card cost around 1 USD, and you can charge it between $50 (2 cents)-$144.000 COP (48 USD), and each one way ticket cost $2200 for trasmilenio and $2000 for busses. If you want to change the bus, you have 75 minutes in where you only pay $300.
